A facelifted Nissan Grand Livina was launched in Malaysia yesterday. This is the second facelift Nissan has introduced for its three-row 7-seat people mover since its launch in 2007.
According to Nissan, the new Grand Livina has more than 50 new enhancements and is a more comprehensive makeover. A new set of headlights accompany the newly designed grille, which like current Nissans, has a prominent 'V-shape' to it. At the rear, the taillights are now profiled horizontally deviating from the pre-facelift models's vertical layout, while the bootlid gets a redesign.
Apart from newly designed alloy wheels, Nissan has also made some changes to the wheel arches of the MPV to make it look less bulbous. A set of new bumpers complete the exterior changes.
Inside, Nissan has chosen a new color scheme for the Grand Livina combining a black color for the upper half of the dashboard while the lower half is done in a beige color. An all-new steering wheel with audio controls has also made its way from the Nissan Sylphy.
Other feature additions come in the form of Nissan's i-Key, revised seat fabrics with optional leather upholstery, upgraded seat belt pre-tensioners, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD and brake assist.
The Grand Livina is being offered in three variants. A 1.6-liter 105PS with a 5-speed manual transmission, the same engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 1.8-liter 126PS engine with a 4-speed automatic unit.
Prices start from 86,880RM (INR 16.83 lakhs) and extend up to 99,880RM (19.34 lakhs) for the top-end model.
