Frankfurt Live – Skoda Yeti Facelifts now come as twins
Anjan Ravi, I'm a true-blooded petrolhead. Hope you enjoy our news stories, launch coverages, motorshow coverages and test drive reports.
At the Skoda stall in the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, we are greeted by two 2014 Skoda Yeti facelifts – the Yeti Outdoor and the Yeti Style.

The Yeti Outdoor is the one you should consider if you are planning on doing some off-road stuff. It comes with a more rugged and off-road look, sporting skid plates, underride guards and side moldings in a black plastic.

And if all you need is a higher ground clearance, better boot space and better visibility, the Yeti Style should fit your requirements rather nicely. It gets a more elegant look with body colored bumpers and added chrome detailing.

Packed with an automatic parking assistant, rear view camera, up to 9 airbags, VarioFlex seats, heated seats, cruise control new fabrics and trim changes and the updated 3-spoke steering wheel, the Yetis seem to have all the required features for this segment.
You can choose between 7 engine options (four diesel and three petrol) and the range extends from a 1.2 TSI 105bhp to a 2.0 TDI 170bhp. Depending on the engine, a 6-speed manual, 6-speed DSG or 7-speed DSG are the available transmission options.
While the Yetis have been world premiered here today, the market launch will take place in Europe only later this year.
