At the Nissan 360 event held in Irvine, California, the automaker had teased an unnamed concept which is set to make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show next year.
Shiro Nakamura, vice president and chief creative officer of design and brand management, Nissan, says that the new concept previews the brand's new design direction. Since Nissan is working on the next generation Maxima, it's expected that the concept in question would preview the upcoming sedan.
Here are more images of the 2015 Nissan Maxima Concept which were uploaded by Thehollywoodextra.blogspot.in. The concept's design has Nissan written all over it.
The windshield and steeply raking roofline derive inspiration from the Nissan GT-R. The boomerang shaped head- and tail-lights are typical Nissan design features.
Assuming that this concept previews the 2015 Nissan Maxima, we can say that the upcoming car would be much sportier than the current sedan. The whereabouts of the car are unknown except for the fact that it's currently being developed.
