There are at least two test mules of the 2014 Linea in India.

The refreshed Linea can be instantly recognized thanks to its new grille and bumper layout. Though the design of the headlights are the same, you should have no trouble in telling a new and old Linea apart.

The Linea facelift entered production in Europe last year.

The same goes for the rear, which also sports a new bootlid. The number plate which is currently housed on the bumper, will move to the bootlid. Moving to the cabin, the dashboard has been redone and the instrument cluster binnacle is new.

Note the new grille and bumper design.

Power for the facelifted Linea would come from at least one petrol engine and a diesel engine. The petrol in question is the 1.4-liter T-JET turbo-petrol and we’re not sure whether the current 1.4-liter FIRE petrol would continue alongside.

The dashboard is revised with new aircon vents, instrument binnacle and center console.

The diesel will either have to be the 1.3-liter MultiJet producing around 90bhp or the larger 1.6-liter MultiJet producing 105bhp.

The rear gets a new bootlid (which will also house the number plate) and a new bumper with these set of reflectors.

The Fiat Linea facelift could be launched by the 2014 Auto Expo. Joining the refreshed Linea would be the Linea Classic, which is nothing but the current model (maybe with a few minor design changes) in a repositioned segment.

Fiat India would position the Linea Classic in the C-Lower segment while the refresh would be positioned in the C-Higher segment.

I think the old exterior looks way classy and better than this.but the new interiors are a must for the Linea.the old one is just too old and the center console is plain boring.so welcome move.pls bring the 1.6 MJD to bring some excitement and shoot the sales as the 1.3 is a common sight and works better with maruti’s tuning than the original makers cars :) .

Only FIAT india can spoil such a nice car.. This shows what indifference to end user’s opinions and sheer negligence to customer’s call can do to a wonderful product.

FIAT should be serious about Indian market if they really want to market and sell their products.
