Thanks to AutoEvolution.com, today we can show you a walkaround clip of the Nissan March Nismo that follows Nismo's formula of a inducing a more expressive bodywork and slightly enhancing power to an everyday Nissan.
Two Nismo variants of the Micra (March to the Japanese) are available. The entry variant comes with the same 1.2L petrol engine used on the humdrum Micra variant, coupled to an Automatic (XTRONIC CVT) gearbox.
The performance-centric Nismo S variant gets a bigger 1.5-liter engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Its power output is about 37bhp higher than the usual variant, taking the grand total to 114bhp. This is the same engine India gets in the Sunny and Scala, albeit in a lower tune.
Nismo-made aerodynamic parts such as diffusers for the front and rear, roof spoiler, red-accented door mirrors, side sills and Nismo badges would differentiate its body work.
Moving to the cabin, custom sports seats covered in leather, a sports steering wheel and custom red stitching signify that you are driving a March Nismo. The chassis gets tuned with a stiffer suspension and performance dampers from Yamaha.
The March Nismo S is priced at JPY1,770,300 (10.63 lakhs).
