Jeep recently has released the Grand Cherokee facelift on to the Romanian market, at a starting price of 54,000 euros (42.26 lakh rupees).
For that price, the vehicle comes with a 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine that generates 250hp. The two higher variants are the Overland and the Summit, priced at 64,000 euros (49.9 lakh rupees) and 69,000 euros (53.8 lakh rupees), respectively.
Standard features on the new Grand Cherokee are bi-xenon headlamps, Uconnect infotainment system, 8.4-inch touch screen, dual-zone auto climate control, cruise control and a high-end Alpine stereo.
The performance variant 'SRT8' is the range topper retailed at 83,000 euros (64.8 lakh rupees). It gets a much bigger 6.4 liter V8 engine that makes 468hp.
Jeep has promised to launch the new Grand Cherokee in India around October.
