After announcing the 2013 Tata Nano at the Tata Horizonext yesterday, we were in for a pleasant surprise. Tata showed us four new and different body kits for the Nano (also available for the 2012 Tata Nano) and here is a comprehensive look at all of them.

2013 Tata Nano refresh and facelift

About the kit

When the 2013 Nano goes on sale, you can specify these body kits on the LX and the CX variants (we’re not all too sure about the Standard variant). The name of the kit will be displayed as a badge on the front fender.

There is no change inside the car when you specify these kits. If you already own a 2012 Nano (in LX or CX trims), you can still get these kits. In which case your 2012 Nano will also see the addition of the dual glovebox.

Personally liked the kits for Nano 2013 very much. Definitely looks very upmarket and stylish compared to the Alto.

It would be good if TATA had taken this opportunity to introduce the all important disc brakes. Nano even though small engined badly needs disc brakes.

The Nano Alpha looks too good for a Tata! and I mean it in a good way. Other kits also exude that “premium feel” that they have not managed to do with other cars in their stable. Hope this sells good!

Wow, these are great collection and maybe the first telepathy that Tata managed to catch. The other wishes could be lower height Nano having all these thing, more upmarket and built atleast like Vista, more features and safety equipment.

Will pay another 10k. Can u get me a car kinda sounding engine too?? 🙂

Atleast the pics looks awesome and if its dealer maintained fitment, then can’t expect it to be this better.

Nevertheless, this is now a pure lifestyle vehicle (barring the engine noise)

Why does the price change as per variant? LX and CX prices are diiferent.

    1. Sushrut the prices have not been announced, the 2013 Nano will hit dealers next month and the prices will come then.
