The Chevrolet Captiva facelift, boasting of a re-designed rear and front fascia, will be revealed in China very shortly. Its premieres have been held in the European and Korean markets over the last couple of months, and we expect to see this car launch in India eventually.
The Captiva refresh sports new LED tail lamps, chrome exhaust tips that are angular and a recast bumper. At the front, designers have endowed the car with a lower bumper, a new grill mesh and redesigned foglights. Redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels are also among the goodies.
The cabin is upholstered with new seat colors, new fabric, redesigned trims and instrument panel. A dual zone climate control, ambient cabin lighting package and heated rear seats improve comfort on higher variants. On higher trims, the new Captiva is also sold with keyless entry.
GM prides itself in inventing the SUV segment with the launch of the Suburban in 1935, and says the 78 year experience in designing SUV’s has been fully used in the development of the restyled Captiva.
