Well, if you did so, there is a surprise in store for you. GM has confirmed that the facelifted Chevrolet Camaro will be in attendance at the New York Motor Show which commences on March 29th.

The news first leaked out from the New York Auto Show’s newsletter and later the it was officially confirmed by General Motors. The newsletter stated “The 2014 Camaro advances the design and performance attributes that have made it the most popular sports car under $50,000 for three consecutive years.”

There is little known about the whereabouts of the facelifted car as of now. Motortrend.com reports that the sports car is expected to get a styling makeover to align it in line with Chevy’s current design language.

The 2013 model year of the car received updates like a revised center console with MyLink infotainment system. High performance ZL1 and 1LE variants were also introduced.

The engine options are likely to be carried forward from the current car which include a 323 bhp 3.6 litre V6, a 6.2 litre V8 in two states of tune – 400 bhp & 426 bhp and a supercharged 6.2 V8 that produces 580 bhp.
