We’re just a few days away from the unveiling of the all-new Chevrolet Corvette C7 and GM has just released a new video teasing the car’s assembly line.

Chevrolet want to convey the fact that the Corvette C7 has been made with a lot of precision and uses only the best of the best technologies for its manufacturing process. In fact the video ends with a message - “Precision Never Sleeps”.

While most of the video shows the robots and the automated processes welding body panels, we can’t help but notice the engine of the ‘Vette’ being mated to the chassis towards the end of the clip. From what we just saw, a lot is being expected from the Corvette C7 and things do look vey promising. You can even hear the engineer saying “Every gram has to earn its way onto the car” and that further highlights the legacy the ‘Vette’ carries with.

So what is the next video we’re waiting for? One in which all the 450bhp comes out to play from the 6.2-liter V8 engine of course. That is sure to be a treat to the eyes. And our ears.

Chevrolet are marketing on the launch date as a “One-13-Thirteen” as the car is being unveiled on 13.01.2013 at about 7.00 P.M Eastern Time at the North American International Auto Show.
