After the images of new E Class went viral on the internet, Mercedes has officially revealed the images of the car through their Facebook page. Here is the promotional video of 2013 the Mercedes E Class.

The Video shows three cars - two sedans and a station wagon. Like in the C Class, there are two different design trims, the Avantgarde which boasts a two slate grill with an imposing three pointed star logo while the other sports a regular grill with three horizontal slates. The Avantgarde variant also has black roof.

Just like the current E Class, there is a Bluetec Hybrid variant which uses the 2.2 litre diesel with 26 hp electric motor. The powertrain options include four petrol engines - 2.0 litre 4 cylinder, 3.0 litre V6, 3.5 litre V6 and a 4.7 V8, each available in more than one state of tune. The diesel range includes a 4 cylinder 2.2 litre and a 3.0 litre V6, again in different states of tune depending on the variant. The engines are paired to 7G-DCT auto gearbox.

The car is equipped with plethora of electronic safety aid such as Distronic Plus (automatic lane correction), Break Assist Sytem Plus, PRE SAFE pedestrian safety braking and Adaptive Highbeam Assist plus.

The video also shows the interior of the car which remains the same as the current car.
