It looks like Hyundai has begun conducting customer clinics for the new Hyundai Santa Fe in India.

A forum member of TheAutomotiveIndia.com under the name '2teja' stated that he was a part of the customer clinic which was conducted last Sunday in New Delhi. He writes that the people who conducted the clinic declined to disclose their brand identity, but it's clear that the clinic is for Hyundai since the rest of the SUVs in the clinic are already launched in India.

Present in the clinic were 6 SUVs with their badges masked - Toyota Fortuner, Ssangyong Rexton, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, BMW X1, Ford Endeavour and the new Hyundai Santa Fe. The invitees were asked to give their feedback and opinion on the exteriors and interiors of all the 6 SUVs.

According to '2teja', the Hyundai Santa Fe is easily the best looking car of the lot with spot on dimensions and Fluidic design. He explains that the interiors are modern and very spacious and the quality of materials used is better than the rest of the cars presented at the study.

We expect the new Hyundai Santa Fe to continue using the same 2.2-litre diesel engine which belts out 194 bhp making it the most powerful SUV in its class. The new car is expected to arrive in India by mid-2013.

We hope Hyundai brings the RHD version of the long wheelbase version which is available in the U.S. so that it could be sold as an SUV with three rows of comfortable seating.
