Honda Cars India Limited today launched the Honda City CNG bi-fuel variant.
The CNG variant is based on the V (MT) grade and gets a retrofitted, Honda-approved CNG kit at all the 45 Honda dealerships located in 28 cities where CNG is dispensed.
The retrofitted Honda City comes with a two year warranty as standard. The powertrain is unchanged - it is the same 1.5L, i-VTEC engine with adjustments to the rear suspension to counter the additional weight of the CNG cylinder placed in the boot.
The City CNG is fitted with safety features such as ABS with Brake Assist (BA), Dual SRS airbags, pre-tensioner seat belts.
AVN grade - Audio Visual Navigation Grade
To celebrate the festival season, Honda has introduced more equipment on manual and automatic transmission variants through the launch of the AVN pack.
The AVN pack comes with Touch Screen, Audio Visual Navigation, Bluetooth, DVD player in addition to CD Player, USB/I-Pod/Aux-in connectivity and Leather upholstery with Leather wrapped steering wheel and Leather wrapped Gear Shift Knob and is available on the V (MT) and V (AT) variants.
In other words..
The AVN pack is not launched on the CNG variant, and the CNG variant is not available with an automatic transmission.
