Now, the Indian automaker has released a TV commercial in which you can catch the new Ritz in action.
Maruti Suzuki claims that they have made 52 changes to the Ritz facelift. The key exterior changes include new front bumper, new grille, redesigned fog lamp housing, rear spoiler, new alloy wheel design and body side moulding.
They have also included several features to the interiors such as new audio system with USB, day and night inside rear view mirror, multi-information display, steering mounted controls and dual front airbag.
Nothing has changed in the mechanicals apart from the fact the boffins at Maruti Suzuki have managed to squeeze 23.2 kilometers per every liter of diesel. That’s a 10% increase on the outgoing model.
The Ritz facelift can be considered for people looking for the alternatives of the Swift. It has lots more head room than the Swift and more space at the rear seats.
An autobox would have really worked in Maruti Suzuki’s favor because the Swift does not have one. Maruti is ready with the technology, and may introduce it when the market conditions for a petrol car is better.
