Audi India has listened to its customers, Facebook fans and the market voice to conclude that selling the S4 is a profitable move. As we've explained in a previous post, the S4 is not the M3 or C63 AMG counterpart, but a mid-way model between the everyday variant and the performance variant.
The Audi S4 is priced at INR 45,31,000 onwards (ex-showroom Maharashtra) and is available at the 19 dealerships across the country.
The Audi S4 sedan embodies the sportiness of the A4 facelift. It sports xenon headlights clasped in LED lights. The LED rear lights and the new bumpers are cues of the updated model. The radiator grille features horizontal chrome crossbars, inserts and the S4 badge. The housings of the exterior mirrors have an aluminum-look finish, the side sills are painted in the body color and V6 T badges sit on the flanks.

The most part of the fun is under the bonnet where a V6 3.0 TFSI engine occupies the bay. It produces 333 hp of power and 440 Nm of torque with an ARAI certified fuel consumption of 10.34 km/l. It is able to accelerate from zero to 100 kph in 5.0 seconds and achieves an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph. The engine is paired to a seven-speed S tronic transmission. It distributes power to the quattro drivetrain with help from the self-locking center differential and torque vectoring.
A sport suspension has lowered the body by 20 millimeters and the brakes have been beefed up. The wheels have been upgraded to 18 inchers.
The interior of the S4 has also been upgraded with a leather multifunction sport steering wheel. A flat-bottomed rim is available as a sporty option. The inlays have surfaces of matt Brushed Aluminum. Rounding out the exclusive features on the S model are the lighting package, the xenon plus headlights with LED rear lights and the driver information system with color display.
