Renault has many special editions of the Fluence around the globe. But a very interesting variant has shown up on our radar today.
Renault is expected to launch the Fluence Turbo in Argentina with a hugely powerful engine.
The engine is question is a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine with intercooler, generating a massive 180 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 300 Nm at 2,250 rpm. Mated to a 6 speed manual transmission, the Fluence Turbo can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds with a top speed of 215 km/h.
The Fluence Turbo also gets aesthetic enhancements such as 17 inches alloy wheels, aerodynamic front bumper and side skirts. A rear diffuser along with chrome tip exhaust complete the design.
The Fluence Turbo will hit Argentina in June to challenge the Peugeot 408 Sport and the VW Jetta.
