Last month we showed you exclusive first pictures of the Volkswagen Polo and Vento IPL-II edition, which were accessories in the form of television screens bolted on to normal variants.

You can choose either of the two radiator grilles. The example on the left is made using plastic with a carbon effect.

This morning we showed you pictures the BMW 3 Series Performance Kit on our Facebook page. We’re not backing off we have a third modified car for you. Here we have the first pictures of the Toyota Etios TRD Edition Kit from a dealership.

For the interiors, you can choose between black with red stitching or red with white stitching.

The Etios may be lacking in sportiness or youthfulness but help isn’t far away. Toyota has launched the Etios TRD (Toyota Racing Department) body kit, which includes several visual modifications to give the Etios a racy or fast look. Note that there are no changes under the bonnet.

White paint work and black alloys is the winning combination for us. TRD badges can be positioned on the boot lid and fender.

The kit includes new alloy wheels, faux dashboard carbon panel – full or half, leather upholstery, premium floor mats, rear door garnish, radiator chrome grill, roof spoiler, Pioneer DVD player, V-Kool Film, 3T LED sensor and TRD logo.

You can choose a full faux carbon fiber dash (left) or just a center console that employs that effect (right).

Unlike Volkswagen’s IPL kit, people can opt for individual options. The faux carbon fiber grill and panel (on the dashboard) are made out of plastic. The roof spoiler can be ordered in any color and is painted at the workshops. There are two kinds of alloys available and the upholstery comes in two colors i.e. black and red. The kits are available for GD and GDSP models only. The prices of the individual accessories are as follows:

  • Alloy wheels (4 pieces) – Rs. 18,000
  • Carbon dashboard Panel – Rs. 8000
  • P.U. Leather Upholstery – Rs. 9,990
  • Floor Mat – Rs. 1,058
  • Radiator Chrome Grill – Rs. 5,800
  • Roof Spoiler – Rs. 7,294
  • Pioneer DVD – Rs. 20,000
  • V-Kool Film – Rs. 2,500
  • 3T LED Sensor – Rs. 3,500
  • TRD Logo – Rs. 1,000
  • Rear Door Garnish – Rs. 1,283

Can these inclusions put the Etios as a hot favorite to the young customer who is buying a Volkswagen, Hyundai or a Maruti?

Hi! I have an Etios (the truth); interior is crap but performance wise thumbs up. One thing is for sure that the car can be transformed in to a piece of art, exterior wise. I’m looking for a specific body kit (Etios valco TRD replica of yaris) can anyone please tell me where I can get it (buy it), I’ve downloaded some pic’s and I think it is so far the coolest body kit ever!

Ok, nice try by Toyota, but why don’t they change that ugly dashboard, instead they decorated it with faux carbon fiber theme.

whatever said. You can’t make a car born out of sex between an amoeba and bacteria to look good by pasting some extra accessories.

Thumbs up to Toyota! Something VW should take a note of. I am 21years old and this move by Toyota certainly clicks with me. Lots of options, affordable pricing and best of all the ability to buy parts individually.
