We were there at the Ford EcoSport premiere in New Delhi and we wished we could take all of you over there. It was a spectacular event with Alan Mulally (CEO of Ford Motor Company) making a late entry and lighting up the stage with his casual approach and wide smile. There’s always that added sense of anticipation at a global premiere. Count in the fact that there were no spy shots and limited clarity on the vehicle’s stance and design, we were probably as nervous as some Ford officials as we waited for the new kid on the block to emerge on the stage!

Sure, we brought you all the live updates from the show but unfortunately, we couldn’t show you what was going on. As back to back events prevented us from spending extra time at the launch, we were not able to shoot Mulally with our questions.

But thanks to Ford India, we have a full video of J Mays (Group Vice President, Design and Chief Creative officer) explaining the design philosophy behind the Ford EcoSport. Have a look, you will love it!
