Moments ago Skoda Auto launched the Rapid sedan at a price of 6.75 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Three variants – Active , Ambition, Elegance.

    Skoda scores in the looks department. The car looks very good to me. Albeit i tend to think, this is a shrunk version of the old octavia.
    For VFM, i tend to compare this with ford fiesta classic in terms of interior space.

    skoda rapid has stunning looks, this seadan is a class within reach. Yet to know about the performence, but I am sure it will be a hit.

    VW-SKODA screwing Indians with premium. This is almost the same price when Vento got launched. I’m quite surprised to see they decided to omit steering mounted controls in the top end. Now they will introduce this as a feature and increase some 20-30k in one year, just like they did to Vento.
