If the Figo has impressed you, here is some more good news: Ford is planning to debut their KA all across the globe in 2014. The added incentive is that Ford is also considering the production of the car in Brazil, India and China.
The new KA is based on the Start Concept that was displayed by the American carmaker at the 2010 Beijing Motor show. The concept car had a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine and was the first Ford concept in 3 years. The production KA may have a 1.4L mill mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The main question is will the KA be positioned above or under the Figo? Or would it replace the Figo considering the new KA will debut in 2014 and by that time the Figo would be not considerably old and outdated.
Ford has had the habit of throwing its old models away and it will be interesting to see what happens when the KA is comes to India.

I think this sort of models like Ford KA or Fiat 500 are bought only by the people who want to be iconic or distiguished from the other people. They are head turners on the street, but will not cover the requirement of the common buyer who want more stuff for less money.
@Prady – well, there could be a four door meant for India. The market is expanding and customers are looking for all sorts of vehicles. If the Ford Ka could be positioned above the Figo, it can sell. Who knows the state of the hatchback or compact car market in India in 2014 or 2015? It could open up and accept the Ka as well.
