Hyundai according to reports and rumors will bring the i10 facelift to India this Diwali. A i10 prototype has been spotted testing near Chennai with enough camouflage to make us believe this is a refreshed model. We tried studying the spy shots and came up with this illustration.
At the front, there will be bigger headlamps, a wider front grille, new bumper and fog lamps.
We expect Hyundai to add a 1.2-liter CVVT (variable valve timing) engine to the menu. There could also be a 1.0-liter Kappa engine on the cheaper model, but this is pure speculation.
Hyundai won’t bother making the new i10‘s interiors any grander or comfier. There could be an addition or two but nothing to write home about.
