After reading on the possibility of a more powerful Fiat Linea, we got in touch with our sources who said they are indeed testing the vehicle in India, even today.
The new Fiat Linea would come with either a 1.6 or a 1.9-liter Multijet engine.
The launch dates have not been confirmed, but our sources tell us it will happen before the end of this year.

I tried linea 1.3, i feel car is under power, and delay in pickup. i belive 1.9 will be better one

No am serious…I went for my first service in August 1st week where I met an engineer at Fiat Pune. He told me that they would be launching the T-Jet after an year…
@Fiat Fan – Looks like Fiat is not going to stop with just the regular. I’ve also heard from my sources that Abarth engines could enter Indian Fiats in the very near future.
Sales will definitely go up…
Aam janta will go for the 1.3 MJD and 1.4 Fire….
Performance seekers will go for the 1.6 MJD….
Also during the first service of my Linea, I met a Fiat engineer from Pune who confirmed me saying that they would be launching the T-Jet in 2010….It is a deadly engine…

The more powerful diesel engine is much needed. Am sure sales will move up even further if priced well.
