The Porsche Panamera is heading towards India by the end of this year, it'll find plenty of buyers for its unique design, and the whole concept of a 4 door, 4 seat supercar. If not anything else, the Mercedes Benz CLS and even cars like the 7 Series in India would be alarmed, it has what it takes, and something extra above that, to divert traffic from other brand dealerships.
The rear-wheel drive Panamera S does the 0 to 60 sprint in 5.2 seconds and runs out of steam only at 175 mph (281 km/h), while the All Wheel Drive Panamera 4S can do the 60mph run in 4.8 seconds and tops out at the same 175 mph mark.
Armed with Porsche’s new PDK dual-clutch gearbox, the Panamera S and 4S are powered by a 4.8-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine which generates 400 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 500Nm of peak torque from 3,500 to 5,000 rpm.
