We did not cover the first batch of the next generation Suzuki Swift’s image since they technically did not reveal anything.

But the new shots we got here is clear and confirms the next generation Suzuki Swift will be bigger than the current car. The design will be more rounded, and hopefully the rear leg room is improved as well. Expect a similar suspension and handling, as these are strengths that took the Swift to the top of the charts all over the world.

Under the bonnet, nothing shocking is expected to happen. So the 1.3-Multijet is bound to stay, 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6-liter petrol units will continue to camp on the new car.

It is still too early in the game to speculate on anything. Rumor has it that Suzuki’s popular hatchback goes live at the Paris Show next year. A hybrid version is also planned, the website reports, but wouldn’t the battery pack eat up the boot space which customers look at while buying a compact?
