Chevrolet Cruze Malaysian launch also happens in July 2009; UPDATE- Video Added

After India, Australia, U.K, Malaysia is announced as the newest market to receive the Chevrolet Cruze in the month of July this year.

Our friend Paul over at paultan.org reports the Chevrolet Cruze will hit the Malaysian market in June as a CBU model. Remember this is not the case here in India, the Cruze will arrive in India as CKD kits and assembled at GM’s new Talegaon facility.

Paul claims this will be a zippy drive with the 6-speed Auto box and the 1.8-liter with 140hp and 170Nm should work wonders. The Chevrolet Cruze will demand a premium over the Optra in India, which was once conceived as the model it was going to replace.
