As reported earlier, Fiat is planning to update the car with a facelift that is expected to be sold later this year as a 2010 model. It does appear to share design cues with Fiat Bravo.

Yes Prashant, that is right. But then does Fiat have the brand image to attract so many customers? Will Indians pay for such an old product? The Uno is a very old car and I don’t think even a facelift could make it look new. Will Fiat’s spares be as cheap as Maruti?
I think Fiat could consider Launching its Fiat Uno Brazilian Version the Bio Uno Flex in India to catch up the market of Maruthi Alto, besides both the car looks same and the New Uno is somewhat bigger in size People definetly will go behind this New Uno as at present there is only an Alto in India after maruthi 800 as choice for mid entry segement car. Fiat can catch just 50% of the ALTOs market
