MG’s traces of foundation go back to 1924 when it was a British automotive company named MG Motor UK Limited. MG was once a subsidiary of SAIC Motor UK. The MG Hector is a 5-seater SUV that was launched in the Indian market in 2019. The SUV is offered in four variants: Smart, Sharp, Super and Style. Each of those variants goes with specific colours among five: silver, black, burgundy red, blaze red and white.

MG ZS EV

The MG ZS EV is an electric car that was introduced to the Indian market in January 2020. The environmentally friendly car is on sale in six cities in Indian and is available in two variants: Exclusive and Excite. MG offers three colour options for the electric car: Currant Red, Ferris White, Copenhagen Blue.

The ZS EV is designed with the signature MG-style features on the outside. The cabin is coloured all-black with a cluttered arrangement.

In terms of equipment, The ZS EV gets an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an inbuilt air purifier, power-adjustable ORVMs, projector headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, and the list goes on.

The ZS EV runs on an electric motor powered by a 44.5kWh lithium-ion battery. The engine allows the vehicle to perform an output of 143PS and 353Nm and to get the mileage of 340km on a single charge. The battery can be recharged by either a 7.4kW fixed charger or a portable charger that goes with the car. Besides, there are fast chargers installed at some MG dealerships to facilitate the electricity regeneration of the car.
