YouTube user B4 News has posted a video showing the 2018 Maruti Ciaz (facelift) in its NEXA blue shade. The facelifted Ciaz seen here is a petrol variant (the diesel variant gets DDiS badges on the front fenders) and is of the lower Delta variant as it features regular projector headlights.

On the top end Alpha variant of the 2018 Ciaz, Maruti will offer LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED foglights, LED taillight elements, 16-inch machined alloy wheels, a touchscreen entertainment system with reverse camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse parking sensors, smart key with push-button start, automatic headlights, automatic climate control and cruise control.

The petrol engine is the new 1.5-liter K15B four-cylinder VVT unit with 103 bhp and 138 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The petrol manual offers 21.56 km/l and the petrol AT gets 20.28 km/l, in addition to electronic stability control and hill hold assist. The diesel variant of the 2018 Ciaz will continue with the 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder unit developing 89 bhp and 200 Nm of torque and will get a 5-speed manual gearbox. An all-new 1.5-liter diesel engine (developed by Suzuki in-house) will reportedly be introduced on the Ciaz later this year.
