A European patent image of the Honda CB150 Verza has been leaked online, according to a report from TMCBlog. The motorcycle is already on sale in Indonesia.

The Honda CB150 Verza patent image misses out on the tank shrouds that are present on the Indonesian model.

The Honda CB150 Verza patent image is mostly identical to the Indonesian-spec model but receives slight changes. For instance, the image is devoid of the tank shroud that seen on the Indonesian version. Apart from the missing tank shroud, the overall design stays similar to the current-gen Honda CB150 Verza.

Honda could be considering the Honda CB150 Verza for launch in the European markets. However, the company will have to launch a 125 cc version of the bike in Europe to qualify as an entry-level motorcycle for A1 license holders. That said, the CB150 Verza is a premium commuter motorcycle with a classic design. The bike is masculine yet compact and features a round headlamp, while it gets a comfortable upright seating position.

Earlier this year in February, Astra Honda Motor launched the 2018 Honda CB150 Verza in the Indonesian market, priced at IDR 19,300,000 and IDR 19,950,000 for the spoke wheel and alloy wheel variants, respectively (both prices are on the road, Jakarta). The motorcycle gets optional Honda Genuine Accessories (HGA) in Indonesia, priced between IDR 56,000 to IDR 150,000.

The accessories list includes alloy wheel/rim stickers, visor, tank pad, and a crankcase cover. The diamond-type steel chassis uses the engine as a stressed member. Telescopic front forks and adjustable dual shock absorbers at the rear perform suspension duties on the bike. Braking power comes from a disc brake at the front and a drum brake setup at the back.

The motorcycle is available with either 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires or 17-inch wire-spoke wheels with tubed tires. The bike runs on 80/100-section front and 100/90-section rear tires, while it gets a fuel tank capacity of 12.2 litres.

Powering the 2018 Honda CB150 Verza is a 150 cc, SOHC, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with fuel injection. The motor is capable of churning out a maximum power of 13.04 PS at 8,500 rpm while developing 12.73 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine works in tandem with a five-speed transmission. The motorcycle delivers a fuel economy of 43.5 km/l as per the ECE R40 (Euro 3) test cycle.
