The Honda Jazz (Honda Fit) has returned to Argentina with a facelift. The small hatchback is now sourced from Brazil, and not Mexico.

Honda has brought in modest changes to the third generation Jazz with the mid-cycle update. The 2019 Honda Jazz features a little more stylish Solid Wing Face with the new grille, a more prominent ‘H’ logo, full-LED headlamps and a revised bumper. On the sides, the updated model sports new 16-inch alloy wheels.

At the rear, the sub-compact hatchback has a sharper bumper, and its LED tail lights are taller now with most of the reflector resting on the tailgate. The interior design has remained the same. Honda offers the car in only a feature-packed EXL grade, with leather steering wheel, cruise control, leather upholstery and new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The new Honda Jazz offers enhanced safety thanks to the inclusion of six airbags (up from two airbags), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and Hill Start Assist (HSA). Performance has taken a hit as the updated model uses the version of the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine without direct injection. While the old model’s engine delivered 132 PS and 15.8 kg.m (155 Nm) of torque, the new engine produces 120 PS and 14.8 kg.m (145 Nm) of torque. As before, a 7-step CVT is standard.
