The bike gets black treatment on the suspension as well.

The modification includes the flatter handlebar, ‘Gunslinger’ single-piece seat, round rear view mirrors and matte black finish on the powertrain and exhaust. The headlight nacelle and the indicators are also in black. The pillion seat features split grab rails instead of the one with the cushioned backrest. Apart from these changes, the Thunderbird 350X features 19-inch front and 18-inch rear alloy wheels. The wheels wear 90-section front and 120-section rear tubeless tyres. The Thunderbird 350X is only INR 8,000 more expensive than the standard Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350, at INR 1,56,849, ex-showroom, Delhi. However, this modification is ideal for those who already have the normal variant and wish to convert to the 350X.

Mechanically, both the motorcycles are identical. The 346 cc single cylinder mill with air cooling is good for 19.8 bhp of power at 5,250 rpm; and 28 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The powerplant pairs with a 5-speed transmission. With the Thunderbird X range, Royal Enfield targets the urban riders who are in the market for a cruiser.
