As the name suggests, the Suzuki Intruder 150 FI gets fuel injection system. This helps in easier cold-starts, cleaner emissions and better throttle response. The bikes looks identical to the standard carburetted variant, but with FI badging on the handlebar cowl. The motorcycle gets a halogen headlamp with projector LED, and an LED tail light. The instrumentation is fully digital and the riding position is relaxed, with forward-set footpegs.

The Suzuki Intruder 150 comes with the same 154.9 cc SOHC engine with air cooling that the standard model uses. Despite the addition of fuel injection, the output is the same at 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm; and 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission. Cycle parts include telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock.

Suzuki will announce the price of the FI variant in April. Expect a premium of around INR 3,000-4,000 over the carburetted variant. The standard version costs INR 99,995, ex-showroom Delhi. Its chief rival would be the Bajaj Avenger 150 Street.
