All-new Honda motorcycle to debut at the Auto Expo

Honda has announced its line-up for the 2018 Auto Expo scheduled for 9-14 of this month (Press days 7-8). It will unveil the fourth and final model of this fiscal year, a new motorcycle.

The Japanese auto major showcased the PCX Electric at the CES 2018.

In total, Honda will be showcasing 11 new models for India at the Expo. Six models in the domestic product range will receive major upgrades for 2018. The brand will also showcase four international products, presumably the new Goldwing, CBR1000RR, CBR650F and Africa Twin. This year, Honda 2Wheelers India’s pavilion bears the theme - “Transforming the Way India Rides Ahead”. The stall is in Hall no. 6.

Apart from the production models, the Japanese company will also be showcasing the PCX Electric Concept, which would be the model’s India debut. MotoGP rider Marc Marquez’s 2017 RC213V and 2017 Honda One Make Race machine CBR 250R will also be present at the show. The company will display the national winner of Navi Customania contest and the 24 best customized NAVI’s from across India.

Honda’s brand ambassadors - Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar will visit the Honda pavilion in the weekend (10 – 11 February). Honda’s Road Safety Zone will educate all age groups through fun based road safety activities. For kids, there will be road safety contests and practical learning session on the special CRF 50 children’s bike. The company's proprietary Riding Trainer will initiate new riders on road safety with its new interface. For women, they will have exclusive Female Safety Riding training sessions helmed by female instructors. Coming back to the upcoming motorcycle, it is likely to be a 125 cc or a 150 cc commuter.
