Mahindra has announced that the Mahindra TUV300 is now available with the mHawk100 diesel engine as standard. Previously the small SUV was available with the mHawk80 diesel engine as well.
The Mahindra TUV300’s 1.5-litre mHawk80 diesel engine was tuned to deliver 84 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 230 Nm of torque at 1,500-2,250 rpm. The 1.5-litre mHawk100 diesel engine develops 100 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 240 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,800 rpm. 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual are the transmission choices.
The Mahindra TUV300 was previously available in T4, T4+, T6, T6+, T8 and T10 grades. Now, Mahindra offers the sub-4 metre SUV in only the T4+, T6+, T8 and T10 grades. The AMT option is available only in the T8 and T10 grades.
Dual-tone colour schemes, static bending headlamps with carbon black finish, black chrome inserts on the front grille, black chrome-accented fog lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels with metallic grey finish and metallic grey spare wheel cover are some of the main exterior features. The dual-tone colour scheme, in which the roof is painted in glossy black, is available in only the T8 and T10 grades.

Inside, the Mahindra TUV300 features central armrest (front), steering mounted audio and phone controls, twin pod instrument cluster, silver accents on AC vents, silver-finish grab handles with chrome rings, piano black centre fascia and faux leather upholstery. Dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts are standard.
The Mahindra TUV300’s prices start at INR 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
