The Hyundai AH2 (Hyundai Santro) will occupy the space between the Eon and Grand i10 and rival the likes of the Tata Tiago and Maruti Celerio.

Heavy camouflage hides much of the exterior of the Hyundai AH2. The image, however, does partially reveal the tail lamp detailing, a high mounted stop lamp, rear windshield wiper, bumper mounted number plate, and plastic wheel covers. The car appears to have a large DLO, which should translate into an airy feel for cabin occupants.

At the launch of the new Hyundai Verna, Y K Koo, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited, confirmed the launch a new small car in the second half of 2018. He added that it will be a “family oriented” product and will be used as a vessel to debut Hyundai’s AMT gearbox. While Hyundai maintains that the name of the new car is yet to be finalised, according to reports, HMIL employees have taken to calling the AH2 “new Santro”.
