Okinawa Autotech Pvt Ltd, an Indian electric two-wheeler maker has teased its latest product, the Okinawa Praise. The company will launch the scooter in December, this year.
The Okinawa Praise will be the brand’s second electric scooter offering after the Okinawa Ridge, which was launched in January this year. The Praise is likely to be the flagship scooter of the company, going by the features that’s visible in the teaser image. The scooter comes with a sporty bodywork, and LED DRL below the apron-mounted headlamp. Two additional LED light strips on the sides of the apron accentuate the sporty intent of the scooter. The Praise features a telescopic front fork with gold finish, and a disc brake at the front is visible as well.

As per the brand, the scooter will come with anti-theft sensor on the main stand; and it will also be the fastest electric scooter in the country. The existing scooter, the Ridge has a claimed top speed of 55 kmph. Expect the Praise to come with a Lithium-ion battery instead of the VRLA unit which the Ridge uses.
Bookings of the Okinawa Ridge are open at a token amount of INR 2,000. The Ridge costs INR 42,400 ex-showroom, and expect the Praise to command a premium of INR 10,000-15,000 over the Ridge.
