Hyundai introduced the Hyundai Ioniq EV last year and will unveil the Hyundai Kona EV at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. In February next year, according to a report from Autocar India, the company will debut an electric sedan in concept form at Auto Expo.

No details of the Hyundai electric sedan concept are available as of now. Given the popularity of B-segment cars in India, it is possible that Hyundai is developing a compact car with an electric powertrain. Technical specifications are currently unknown. Hyundai is developing a dedicated electric vehicle platform that will underpin multiple EVs with different driving ranges.

In addition to the potential production version of the Hyundai electric sedan concept, the Hyundai Kona EV could also sell in India. Earlier this year, reports said that Hyundai is considering the Hyundai Kona EV for India. This model will have a driving range of 390 km. Of course, it is obvious that it would have a steep pricing if launched.

In addition to the Hyundai electric sedan concept, Hyundai will unveil, what the media refers to as the Hyundai Santro successor, at Auto Expo 2018. This model is internally known as 'Hyundai Family Concept'. The company will showcase the Hyundai i20 WRC also at the show, not to mention the 2018 Hyundai i20 (facelift).
