Kawasaki has showcased two custom motorcycles, the Kawasaki Z900 RS Doremi Collection and the Kawasaki Z900 RS Bito R&D at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.

Kawasaki Z900 RS Doremi Collection:

This motorcycle is designed by Doremi Collection, to pay homage to the racers who were active in the AMA Superbike Championships of the yore. The Kawasaki Z900 RS Doremi features a unique black and green livery with gold finish 18-inch alloy wheels. The quad exhaust system is reminiscent of the Kawasaki race bikes and is finished in matte black. The front features a chrome fender, and the instrument cluster and headlight ring get chrome accents as well. The bulb-type lighting system adds authenticity to the motorcycle.

For suspension, the bike employs inverted front fork and a rear monoshock with remote adjustment. Even the brakes are solid for that vintage charm. Twin radial callipers bite the front twin discs, and a single piston calliper grabs the rear unit. The engine is the same 948cc in-line four-cylinder engine that does duty on the stock bike. It produces 111 PS at 8,500 rpm and 98.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine mates with a 6-speed transmission.

Bito R&D, an aftermarket parts manufacturer from Japan, has designed this motorcycle. The bike is draped in olive green with yellow stripe livery. The bike features a well-cushioned stepped seat, with a rear luggage rack. The four-to-one exhaust system is an aftermarket unit. This motorcycle also features solid discs for retro appeal.

Coming to the suspension bits, the motorcycle employs upside down front forks and a rear monoshock. The alloy wheels are shod with low-profile Dunlop tyres. The 948cc in-line four-cylinder engine is stock. It is capable of generating 111 PS at 8,500 rpm and 98.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The powerplant works in tandem with a 6-speed transmission.
