Honda has showcased its quarter litre cruiser offering, the Honda Rebel 250, and the Honda Rebel Custom Concept at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Here are the motorcycles’ live images from the show.

Honda Rebel 250:

The Honda Rebel 250 has a commanding road presence, thanks to the low-slung seat, iconic fuel tank, and wide tyres. With a wheelbase of 1,490 mm, the bike offers an optimum balance between high-speed stability and handling. The display motorcycle features accessories such as removable soft panniers, rear luggage rack, and a front fly-screen.

Powering the Honda Rebel 250 is a single cylinder 249cc engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The mill makes 26 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 22 Nm of torque at 7,750 rpm. A six-speed transmission does duty in this motorcycle. 41 mm front telescopic fork and twin rear shocks hold the 130 section front and 150 section rear tyres. The meaty tyres wrap the 16-inch alloys on both ends. Disc brakes on both ends with ABS take care of the anchoring duty.

Honda Rebel 250 Custom Concept:

The Honda Rebel 250 Custom Concept features a matte blue-grey paint finish, with twin offset racing stripes. The single-seat comes with a brown accent on the lower portion. The traditional bulb type indicators are replaced with bullet-type LED units. The round taillight is custom as well.

The telescopic front forks is the same as the stock bike. However, the rear employs a pair of Ohlins gas-charged shock absorbers. The bike features steel aftermarket megaphone-style exhaust as well. The powertrain is the same as the standard Rebel 250.
