Honda has showcased the Honda CB1100 RS Custom concept and the Honda Super Cub 50 at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.

Honda CB1100 RS Custom Concept:

The Honda CB1100 RS Custom Concept features a metallic grey finish with racing stripes on the centre. The white side boxes add a nice contrast to the motorcycle. The engine casings get gloss black covers, and the aftermarket exhaust system is draped in matte black. The front end employs telescopic forks finished in black, instead of the gold finish on the stock bike. The rear gas-charged monoshock is black as well. The bike comes with a single piece dual tone seat, and an all-LED lighting system.

Powering the Honda CB1100 RS is a 1,140 cc inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine. The powerplant punches out 90 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine pairs with a 6-speed transmission. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with high-performance Pirelli tyres. The motorcycle comes with a 16-litre fuel tank. Brakes include dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear; both with ABS. In Japan, the stock CB1100 RS costs 1,378,080 Yen (MSRP).

Honda Super Cub 50:

The Honda Super Cub 50 is a small-capacity moped from Honda. The Super Cub is quite utilitarian, with a large luggage rack in the place of the pillion seat. There’s a smaller rack on top of the front fender as well. The moped comes with an analogue instrument cluster. The Honda Super Cub 50 draws power from a 49cc single cylinder OHC engine with fuel injection. It puts out 3.7 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 3.8 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

The engine works in tandem with a 4-speed constantly engaged gearbox. The gearbox mechanism sets the transmission type to return transmission while in motion, and rotary when stationary. This eliminates the need for a clutch lever. The 17-inch spoke wheels are shod with 60-section ribbed tyres. Suspension bits include telescopic front fork and twin rear hydraulic shock absorbers. The moped comes to a halt using drum brakes on both ends.
