The facelifted 2018 Honda Odyssey has made its world premiere in the flesh at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show today. Prices haven't been revealed yet, but expect it to be priced around JPY 2,760,000 when it goes on sale next month.

The styling tweaks are significant, lending a new look to Honda's premium family mover. It has a restyled, upright grille that seems to be finished in a dark chrome hue, sharper front bumper, larger side air intakes housing Horizontal LED strips instead of round fog lamps, and new alloy wheel designs. At the back, the only noticeable change is the ‘Odyssey’ logo positioning, which is now below the left tail lamp.

Inside, the only new changes are its upholstery, and Adaptive Cruise Control system with low-speed follow function as part of an updated Honda Sensing package. It will be available in black and beige interior theme, with either fabric (8-seater), half-leather-half-fabric (8-seater), and full leather (7-seater) upholsteries.

The facelifted Honda Odyssey will continue with petrol and hybrid models. The former packs the 2.4-litre i-VTEC petrol engine in three variants: 175 PS/225 Nm, 185 PS/235 Nm and 190 PS/237 Nm. As for the latter, it's powered by the Sport i-MMD powertrain that combines a 2.0-litre i-VTEC motor producing 145 PS and 175 Nm of torque along with a 184 PS electric motor. A 4WD system is exclusive to the regular petrol model.
