A black colour variant of the 2017 KTM 390 Duke has been spotted at a dealership in Bangalore.

The black colour makes the bike look even more aggressive.

As per pictures shared by Facebook page Bikeholic, the motorcycle features black alloy wheels. The headlamp and fuel tank get black treatment as well. The trellis frame and the rear subframe continue with the orange and white paint scheme respectively. The ‘Duke’ lettering on the tank is in orange instead of white on the existing bike, and the reflectors on the front fork are absent. The bodywork at the tail section is in orange. It is unclear whether this new colour variant is an official model or a dealer level customization.

It will be the second colour variant if KTM decides to launch the Black. In April this year, KTM sold a white in a limited run. When it comes to the powerplant, it employs the same 373.2 liquid-cooled, single cylinder, fuel injected mill. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, the engine is capable of producing 43.5 PS of maximum power at 9000 rpm and 37 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm.

Brakes include a large 320 mm disc up front with a four-piston radial calliper and a 230 mm disc in the rear with a single piston floating calliper. The motorcycle costs INR 226,358, ex-showroom, Delhi.
