The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport's Japanese brochure and prices have leaked online, courtesy livedoor Blog. The all-new Suzuki Swift Sport is now just days away from its world premiere at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show (Sept 12).

Suzuki will offer the 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport in Japan in six configurations, with prices ranging from JPY 18,36,000-20,50,920.

The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport's prices will range from JPY 18,36,000-20,50,920 (INR 10,62,698.27-11,87,096.48) in Japan. Buyers will get to select from six configurations. For its third generation, the Suzuki Swift Sport has adopted turbocharging for improved efficiency. It packs the modified version of the Suzuki Vitara's K14C 1.4-litre BOOSTERJET engine. This four-cylinder engine puts out 140 PS at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of torque from 2,500-3,500 rpm. Suzuki has made the engine torquier (+10 Nm) for the Swift Sport.

6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic are the transmission choices for the 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport. Front-wheel drive drivetrain layout is standard. In the JC08 test cycle, the Sport variant has received a fuel economy rating of 16.4 km/l (MT)/16.2 (AT). The car weighs 970 kg in the manual transmission model and 990 kg in the automatic transmission model, and has the same width as the regular model - 1,735 mm.

The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport gets its unique exterior styling with a sporty body kit, 17-inch black alloy wheels shod with 195/45 R17 tyres and dual exhausts. On the inside, Suzuki has equipped its budget hot hatch with special bucket seats with red stitching and "Sport" branding, stainless steel pedals and genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching. Red highlighting on the door panels, dashboard and centre console and inside the instrument panel give further add to the sporty appeal.

A previously leaked document suggested that the all-new Swift Sport will go on sale in Japan on 20 September 2017. A first-ever Maruti Swift Sport was rumoured last year, but no update has emerged since then.
