The European spec 2017 Honda Jazz was revealed ahead of the show in August. The car gets refreshed external design, with ‘Solid Wing Face’ headlight signature and grille. The sharply sculpted front bumper features more aggressive contours around the air vents. At the rear, shallower grille sections are linked by a gloss black trim strip above a trapezoid lower section. Updates to the exterior are rounded off by the addition of metallic Skyride Blue as a new colour option.

The car comes in a new ‘Dynamic Grade’ variant. The variant gets a 130 PS 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which is offered in Europe for the first time. The Euro-6 compliant engine pairs with an optional CVT (6-speed gearbox is standard) and holds a claimed efficiency figure of 18.5 kmpl. Apart from this variant, a 102 PS 1.3 i-VTEC petrol engine with a 5-speed manual will continue to exist across all Jazz trims.

Additionally, it also gets LED headlights, front fog lamps, side sill skirts, a tailgate spoiler and gloss-black 185/55 R16 alloy wheels. The interior features a pinstripe pattern on the upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, all with orange stitching.

Standard equipment on the Jazz includes cruise control, heated seats, automatic headlights and the City-Brake Active safety system. Higher grade variants feature a 7-inch Honda Connect infotainment system; rear-view parking camera, keyless entry and start; as well as safety features such as forward collision warning; lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition. The new Jazz will enter the UK market in November 2017.
