The bike is available in two colour options - ‘Soulful Cyan’ and ‘Rhythmic Red’.

The Fazer 25 is based on the naked street motorcycle, the Yamaha FZ25. It shares the same 249 cc single cylinder SOHC 'Bluecore' engine that belts out 20.9 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 20 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The Bluecore technology increases combustion and cooling efficiency, and reduces power loss. Yamaha has tuned the engine for smooth power curve and initial torque to suit the Indian traffic conditions.

The bike is available in two colours, ‘Soulful Cyan’ and ‘Rhythmic Red’.

The bike features LED headlamp and a digital instrument cluster with real time mileage meter. It also gets LED position light, and an aerodynamic cowl with wind protector. The fuel tank can hold 14 litres of juice, and the claimed range is up to 600 km.

The front end uses 41 mm telescopic forks while the rear gets a light weight link-less monocross suspension. The split seats are covered with slip-resistant material for optimal comfort. The bike features disc brakes on both ends and a dual horn. ABS is absent. The bike weighs 154 kg, which is 6kg more than the FZ25.
