The exterior and interior of the VW Virtus (2018 VW Polo Sedan) has leaked online in spy photos published on Motor1. The Virtus is developed for the Latin American market.

Volkswagen will offer the VW Virtus with two engines: 120 cv 1.6-litre MSI and 128 cv 1.0-litre TSI.

The spy photo of the VW Virtus' front shows that it has a slightly different lower grille compared to the 2017 VW Polo, although that is probably due to the lower variant. At the rear, the Virtus gets wraparound tail lamps reminiscent of the Audi A4. Motor1 claims the Virtus has a wheelbase longer than the Polo (2,564 mm).

The interior of the VW Virtus looks the same as that of the 2017 VW Polo. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel has the same design. The same applies for the 10-inch virtual instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and AC vents. Volkswagen may differentiate the sedan with unique trim and upholstery choices, although there's no confirmation yet.

Brazilian reports suggest that Volkswagen will offer the Virtus with two engines: 120 cv (120 hp) 1.6-litre MSI and 128 cv (128 hp) 1.0-litre TSI. The 1.6-litre engine model will have a 5-speed manual transmission, while the 1.0-litre engine model will feature the 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
