The Mitsubishi Xpander’s list of safety and driver assistance features includes ABS with EBD & BA, dual airbags, ASC with TCL and HSA.

The Mitsubishi Xpander will feature Active Stability Control with Traction Control Logic, as well as Hill Assist. Active Stability Control helps in maintaining the vehicle’s control and traction and is helpful especially during adverse weather conditions. When the vehicle’s tyres lose grip on slippery road surfaces or due to sudden steering wheel input, brakes are applied to one or more wheels, and the engine output is tweaked to ensure that the driver does not lose the control over the vehicle.

Traction Control Logic operates in a way similar to the ASC system. It keeps the wheel-spin appropriate amongst all tyres. This maintains the stability of the vehicle. Hill Assist or Hill Start Assist prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards. The Xpander will have ABS, with EBD & BA and dual airbags too.

The Mitsubishi Xpander is 4,475 mm long, 1,750 mm wide and 1,700 mm tall. Local reports say that its 205 mm ground clearance is the highest in its class. The Xpander is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine good for 103 hp and 141 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.

LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, colour MID, multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, 60:40 split second-row seats, 50:50 split folding third-row seats and reverse camera are among the known highlights of the SUV-styled MPV.
