In India, Honda recently inaugurated the fourth assembly line at its Narsapura plant, near Bengaluru. This takes Honda’s combined annual production capacity to 6.4 million units, which makes India the no.1 production hub for the company’s two-wheeler operations for the first time. In April, Honda’s cash cow reached the 1.5 crore unit cumulative production milestone. The Activa has also achieved the distinction of being the largest selling two-wheeler in India, in the financial year 2016-17.
