Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Hero Maestro Edge at the 2017 NADA Auto show in Nepal, at a price of NPR 1,81,000. Nepal General Marketing Pvt. Ltd., is the authorised distributor of Hero products in the country.

Powering the Hero Maestro Edge is a BS4 compliant 110cc single cylinder OHC engine. It gives out 8 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine pairs with a variomatic transmission. Coming to the suspension components, the scooter employs telescopic fork at the front and a spring loaded hydraulic damper at the rear.

The scooter features a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels. 90-section tubeless tyres wrap both the wheels. The scooter comes to a halt using drum brakes on both ends, with an integrated braking system. It is available in three colour options- Techno Blue, Panther Black and Candy Blazing Red.

Other useful features include external fuel filling and mobile charging port with boot light. The scooter gets Always Headlamp On (AHO) and LED tail light. Further, it features an analogue-digital combo cluster with service reminder indicator. The scooter comes with a 5-year/50,000 km warranty (whichever comes earlier). For three visits, the dealer offers 30 percent discount on engine oil and 7 percent discount on spare parts as well.
