An unofficial body kit for the Yamaha R15, currently Yamaha India’s flagship offering, is now available. The kit is imported to India from Indonesia by Autologue Design.
The Pune-based motorcycle customiser will be offering a tank cover (INR 5,000), tail kit (INR 8,000) and a headlamp kit (INR 6,500). The Yamaha R15 is the sportiest motorcycle in the segment and the new kit will help the motorcycle emerge sportier looking.

The body kit has a clear resemblance with the previous generation Yamaha R6.
The present generation Yamaha R15 gets a 149 cc single cylinder, SOHC, liquid-cooled mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 17 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.

The Yamaha R15 tips the scales at 136 kg and the body kit may increase it by a few kilograms. Other features include a deltabox frame, link type monocross suspension, LED tail light and an aluminium swing arm.
The Yamaha R15 retails at a price tag of INR 119,788 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
